Telemet releases version 8.2.03.02 with Internationals Data and Excel Telemet IQ 64 Add-In

Telemet has released version 8.2.03.02 which incorporates end-of-day Internationals Data as well as compatibility for our Telemet IQ add-in with Microsoft Excel 64 bit.  Additional enhancements include: custom quintile ranges in Multi-Style Attribution, the ability to view the earnings conference call calendar for your list of companies, and new multiple color options showing price direction for charts.

The indicators represent weekly (on Fridays) history of NTM (next twelve months) historical data of  the S&P Estimates fields EPS (GAAP) Consensus Mean and EPS Normalized Consensus Mean and their corresponding Forward P/E rates. Standard and Poor’s provides various periods marked as NTM with each consensus. We select those closest to one year from consensus date.

New Earnings and Dividend data columns available!

- Zacks P/E Forward 4Q* – calculated from last price and sum of 4 quarters estimates

- Date – Announced (in Dividend group) – date of last company dividend announcement from dividend table

- % Earnings Clarity (in Earnings group) – percentage rate of sum of EPS for last 3 years to sum of adjusted EPS for same period

S&P 500 Value benchmark now available!

The S&P 500 Value benchmark is now available in Telemet Orion to subscribers of S&P benchmark data.  Portfolio Analytics as well as Multi-Style Attribution can be run for periods starting as far back as 02/23/10. Telemet will continue to add history to this benchmark in the future.

Attribution on AXYS composites now available

With the 8.2 release of Telemet Orion, portfolio analytics, including multi-style attribution, may be run on AXYS composites.  Simply add the file type to the Orion Data Storage Descriptor along with your other AXYS files.  The newest version also allows clients the option to exclude certain security types and transactions.

1) Click Functions, Add In Console, Portfolio Accounts from the Telemet Manager window

 

 

 

2) Click on Data Storage Descriptors and right click on Axys3 or Axys38 depending upon the version of Advent Axys you use  (For any version prior to Axys 3.8 you should use Axys3) 

 

3) Click on Edit from popup menu when you right-click on the proper version

 

4) Define the correct folder for the location of the Portfolio (cli), Group (grp), and Composite (cpg) files using the blue dots hyperlinks

Key Stats - Save Time getting Company Data

Telemet Orion's Key Stats page presents detailed financial data on individual stocks. To access, use the Display menu item, select Research, and then select Key Stats.


The new Key Stats page is the "go to" page for all you need to know about a company. With single clicks of the mouse, easily get at relative performance, ratios, a company summary, ownership changes, financial trends, and much more.

TeleFlash Research Distribution Tool

Here is the problem. You have great research - you want to get to colleagues fast.  How do you do it?  E-mails and memos get misplaced or misfiled.
 
Now there is a new way to distribute your internal research notes on companies, colleague's comments, data, and files all by using Telemet Orion. Just click on Add Research Note, type in a headline and any text, link to a ticker (and documents if you wish) and the Research Note appears on every Telemet Orion monitor in your office. You can attach Microsoft Excel, Word, or Adobe PDF documents to any Research Note.
 
The “TeleFlash Data Monitor” workspace within the Equity Research workspace grouping includes a 30 day news query for TeleFlash Research Notes and also quickly shows Corporate Data by ticker.

Telemet's new version 8.2 bundles in some significant and complimentary enhancements!

• TELEFLASH: Distribute internal research notes and proprietary data on companies, colleague's comments, data, and files with TeleFlash. Users may attach MS Excel, Word, or Adobe pdf documents to any Research Note. Proprietary data may also be put in Telemet reports. A Research Note appears on Telemet Orion as a News flag next to a ticker symbol. Just click on the alert to drill-down for the note details. The Research Note is then stored in an internal database so you can find it by ticker, subject, industry, etc. Nothing could be simpler! Anyone in your office can publish a Research Note, having a Telemet Orion login is not required.
• REDESIGNED KEY STATS PAGE:   With the new version get one click access to research reports, sales and earnings estimates, 10K/Q data, SEC filings, and insider and institutional ownership.
• ATTRIBUTION ON COMPOSITES:  Version 8.2 allows clients with AXYS to run Multi-Style Attribution on composites.
