Telemet IQ
Telemet IQ, included with your Telemet Orion subscription, puts financial data into the world’s most popular spreadsheet program, Microsoft Excel.
Telemet clients get stunning reports and charts that are ‘presentation’ ready. The data is up-to-date with the latest real-time prices and financial information. Analysts save time and effort because no manual entry of financial data (income statements, balance sheets, ratios, and cash flows) is necessary. There is more time for company analysis, such as comparing financials and performing what if analyses on expenses or revenue.
Important Notes:
Telemet IQ software requirements
· Telemet Orion (version 8 or later)
· Microsoft Excel XP (2002 or later)
· Microsoft Excel & Telemet Orion must be running on the same computer
Accessing Telemet IQ
When you open Microsoft Excel you should see a Telemet IQ icon in your toolbar. If the Telemet IQ icon does not appear, refer to the below link with instructions or call/email our Client Service team.

Market Glass – Technical Indicator Alerts
Market Glass is a useful tool within Telemet Orion that allows the user to set alerts for Technical Indicators like Moving Average, Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), and the Relative Strength Index (RSI). Alerts can be set up for Telemet Symbol Lists, Queries, U.S. Stocks, the S&P 100, or the S&P 500. Clients are also able to customize the number of days viewed in the alert window.
For example, you may set up a measurement for the RSI alert using 14-day periods; 30 as the level for oversold, and 70 as the level for overbought on a Telemet List as shown in the below.
1. Choose Display>Research>Market Glass. The Market Glass window opens. Right click on Technical Indicators and choose New.
2. Select your security data source; enter how many days of data to display in the window; and name the alert.
3. Click on Add to choose an Indicator. A window appears with your choices. Next, click on the link for the desired indicator. You may then enter your measurements for the alert and select OK.
4. The Indicator now displays in Indicators window. Choose OK to create the alert and run the search. Going forward, you may right click on Technical Indicators and choose Open to run the search or Edit to make adjustments to the alert.
