New Feature! Automatically plot ticker’s Sector or Industry on Intraday and Historical Charts

A feature previously limited to Total Return Charts to automatically add a security's sector or industry as a second ticker on the chart has now been added to Intraday and Historical Charts.

1.Within the chart window, select Options > Upper Chart Design.  The Upper Chart Design window opens.

2. To the right side of the window, select the box marked “Auto Index Selector on the stock entered into the first position”.  Once checked, it will read SP Industry/Sector Selection on the stock “Example”(chosen in the first line of Chart Tickers).

3. Choose S&P Sector or Industry to plot by clicking on the corresponding radio button.

4. The Sector or Industry ticker for the first security selection will appear in the second row for Chart Tickers.

5. Click OK.

Custom Benchmarks

Did you know Custom Benchmarks can be imported into Telemet Orion?  Once added, these benchmarks can be used in Multi-Style Attribution as well as various pages throughout the platform.

 

1) From your Telemet Manager window, click Functions>Add-In-Console>Portfolio Accounts.  The Portfolio Accounts Console window will appear.

 

 

 

2) Click “Benchmarks” on the left side of the screen and then select New.

A.  Choose “Model Portfolio” if a portfolio that contains transactions is wanted as the benchmark – such as an Advent Axys cli file.

B.  Choose “Text – Delimited” if the file containing the Benchmark data is in a delimited format, such as a csv or tab delimited file.

C.  Choose “Telemet Ticker List” if the data is currently viewable as a Telemet Orion Ticker List.

New Feature! Know what data is available to you when adding columns

In the most recent release, Telemet Orion version 8.1.09.00 now available for free on our website, users can identify what data elements they are permissioned to view when choosing columns to add to pages.  Within the Set Columns window, premium data that a user is not subscribed to will appear in gray text.

New Feature! Find Column Data

New Feature!  Adding columns to pages is now easier than ever!  With version 8.1.09.00, now available for free on our website, users have a Find box to search for various data points to add as columns.

Double click on any Column Header to open the Select Columns Window.  Next, click on Set Columns.  Using the Find box, type in any part of the data element you are looking for.  The above box of folders will then display all your options.

Quickly change the colors on Pages and Charts with pre-made Color Schema.  Choose Options>Color Schema to view the built-in templates.
